Management at Purcellville East Apartments received a v/m message from a concerned relative about a resident who was possibly suicidal and had not been heard from in four days. The resident lived next door at Renew Purcellville, where police responded. Based on the information provided by the relative, police made entry into the apartment where they found the person, lying on the floor, barely responsive. Nearby were empty narcotics bottles and a suicide note. The person was transported by medics to the hospital. Mental health authorities were notified and will conduct an evaluation following medical clearance.
