LCSO Deputies went to a residence regarding a court-issued capias for a resident of the home. After LCSO gained entry into the residence, a subject wanted by the Town Leesburg Police Department in connection with the June 22, 2022, armed robbery of a hotel was located hiding in a room. The subject, Eugene A. Mitchell, Jr., 57, of no fixed address, was arrested on the warrants obtained by the LPD for Robbery, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, and Eluding. He was charged additionally by the LCSO with one count of Obtaining Identifying Information to Avoid Arrest. The other resident, Takiesha N. Williams, 36, was served the capias for a Violation of Condition of Release and charged with Obstruction of Justice. Both Mitchell and Williams remain held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
