Vildan Jahja, 68, of Ashburn was released from Inova Fairfax Hospital and served on warrants for Attempted Malicious Wounding, Felony Protective Order Violation, and Felony Hit and Run. He remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond. Pedestrian Struck: An Ashburn man is facing charges following a domestic-related incident Friday afternoon incident where he intentionally struck a pedestrian with his vehicle. Loudoun County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a parking lot in the 44600 block of Prentice Drive after receiving a call for a female that was struck by a vehicle. The victim and several juveniles were walking to her vehicle in the parking lot, when the suspect, who is related to the victim, struck her with his vehicle, pinning her between his vehicle and hers. The suspect fled the scene when bystanders stepped in to assist. The juveniles were not physically injured. A short time later, deputies received a call from the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police, who had located the suspect and his vehicle on the Dulles Toll Road. The suspect had struck multiple vehicles before coming to a stop. He was transported to a local area hospital for treatment, where he currently remains hospitalized. He is facing charges of Attempted Malicious Wounding, Felony Protective Order Violation, and Felony Hit and Run. The victim was transported and later released from an area hospital for treatment of her non-life-threatening injuries.
