A victim reported that her roommate had taken her vehicle without permission. The suspect returned to residence while deputies were at the home. The male was found to be under the influence of alcohol, had a suspended driver’s license, and was a habitual offender for driving while suspended. While being taken into custody the male assaulted a deputy. Alexander N Norris III, 53, of Sterling was charged with Unauthorized Use of Vehicle, Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Suspended, Operation of Vehicle by a Habitual Offender, and Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer. Norris remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
