Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for windows tinted darker then allowed by Virginia state code. Upon activating emergency equipment, the vehicle sped up at a high rate of speed refusing to stop. The vehicle continued at a high rate of speed eventually stopping when it became disabled. The driver, Cordell T. Ngassa, 20, of Sterling was charged with Reckless Driving, Disregard Police Commands to Stop, Driving while Intoxicated, and Tint Darker then Allowed by VA Code. Ngassa was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he was later released on a $2,500 bond. A passenger in the vehicle was issued a summons for Possession of Marijuana.
