A subject who is a suspect in petit larceny from an apartment, as noted in last week’s report, told management that the lessee of the apartment is a convicted felon and keeps firearms in the unit. After speaking with apartment management, the on-site manager made the decision not to enter the apartment. The investigating officer contacted the subject who reported the incident, who indicated that his information was “third-hand.” As there was a dearth of viable, credible information, this matter was closed and no further action, absent additional information, will be taken. At 8:04 p.m., an officer was serving no trespassing notices from two businesses, on the reporting party from above, who told the officer that the lessee, had left threatening messages via v/m. The officer listened to the voicemails, and while insulting, were not threatening. The subject was advised that he had the option of seeking a protective order but seemed to be ambivalent about pursuing this option.
