The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious incident that occurred at Independence High School Sunday evening. The LCSO School Resource Deputy was notified Monday morning by the school administration, that a teacher located a rope tied in the shape of a noose attached to a school banner outside the stadium. Two unknown subjects believed to be involved in the incident were seen in the area Sunday night while they were walking a small black and white dog. LCSO is continuing to investigate this incident and is reviewing video surveillance in the area.
