Deputies responded to a report of a dump truck that had struck a passenger vehicle. Upon investigation, deputies determined that the brakes were not working properly on the dump truck when it struck the vehicle. A total of four patients were transported to a local area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the dump truck was cited (mandatory court appearance) for Reckless Driving – Improper Brakes.
