Man Arrested for Indecent Exposure on W&OD Trail in Sterling

In a troubling incident on the Washington and Old Dominion (W&OD) Trail, a man was arrested for indecent exposure. According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Brandon Lee Anthony from Herndon was taken into custody after allegedly exposing himself to a walker near mile marker 21.5 in Sterling, on May 12, 2024.

The incident unfolded as the victim, whose identity has been withheld for privacy, was walking along the trail. She reported encountering Anthony, who engaged in an obscene sexual display. The alarmed walker immediately left the area and contacted law enforcement, leading to Anthony’s swift arrest on the trail itself. He has been charged with Obscene Sexual Display but was released on personal recognizance shortly after.
