Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Help in Ashburn Homicide Case

In an appeal to the community, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has called upon residents for their assistance in apprehending Rashaun D. Owens, a suspect implicated in the tragic homicide of 19-year-old Michai Dandridge-Carter from Sterling. The distressing event took place in Ashburn on February 14, 2024, where Dandridge-Carter sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was declared deceased at the scene.

Authorities have issued warrants for Owens on charges of 2nd Degree Murder, Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, and Attempted Robbery with a Firearm. Given the nature of these charges, Owens is considered to be armed and dangerous, and the LCSO urges anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward.
