Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Death in Ashburn

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is currently investigating an incident that led to the death of an adult male in the parking lot of the Ashburn Meadows apartment complex in Ashburn. The event occurred on the evening of February 14, 2024. The individual has been identified as 19-year-old Michai Dandridge-Carter of Sterling.

At approximately 7:19 PM on that day, deputies were called to the scene in the 44400 block of Keller Square following reports of a gunshot and a person found on the ground. Upon arrival, they found Dandridge-Carter in the parking lot, where he was declared deceased. It was later determined that he had sustained a gunshot wound, and the investigation into this matter is ongoing.

The LCSO is seeking the assistance of anyone who might have been in the area at the time and witnessed the incident or has any relevant information. Detective K.
