Leesburg, VA (July 6, 2022) – On Monday, July 4, 2022, at approximately 11:30 PM, the Leesburg Police Department Emergency Communications Center received multiple reports of two individuals discharging firearms into the air in a parking lot located in the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE. Leesburg Police Officers immediately responded, however, were unable to locate either suspect. Evidence of gunfire was observed; however, no injuries have been reported and no property damage has been located.The first suspect was described as a black male wearing a white t-shirt, sunglasses, and dark pants. The second suspect was described as a black male wearing a black t-shirt and dark pants.
The incident remains under investigation by the Leesburg Police Department Criminal Investigation Section.
