The complainant ordered a pair of diamond earrings valued at $3179.99 from Costco that were reported to have been delivered on 11/29/22. However, the package was not at the residence when the complainant returned home. UPS reported that the package had been delivered and signed for by a person who used the first three letters of the last name of the recipient on the signature block. UPS reported that they do not keep copies of the signatures. The investigating officer checked nearby residences for video but did not locate anything relevant to the investigation. The complainant is working with Costco to obtain a replacement.
