Police responded after the father, who was in the midst of his court-approved custody period, demanded that the child’s mother come to pick up the child. Upon her arrival, he refused to relinquish the child, as he indicated that he had changed his mind. Police were called, and were met with a profanity-laced tirade by the father, who subjected the mother to the same. Ultimately, the mother decided to leave without the child. On 05-30-23, the same parties were involved in an incident where a man dumped a beverage on the woman. He was not on the scene when police were called, and the complainant requested information on protective orders and had no desire to seek criminal prosecution.
