Deputies responded to the area of the Loudoun Gateway Metro Parking Garage for a report of gunfire. An employee of the Metro reported that he heard multiple gunshots in the area north of the Metro Station (wooded area – not on Metro property). While deputies were on the scene, they heard additional gunshots. Upon going into the wooded area, deputies located multiple shell casings on the ground. This case is under investigation.
