The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred on northbound Claiborne Parkway near Harry Byrd Highway yesterday afternoon. On May 26, 2023, at approximately 2:37 pm, deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. The preliminary investigation revealed that the rider lost control of the motorcycle and struck the guardrail. The operator of the motorcycle, Erik E. Grier, 34, of Ashburn, was transported to a local area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Anyone with information, please contact Investigator Alpy at 703-777-1021.
