A deputy on patrol observed a vehicle traveling 94 mph in a 35-mph speed zone. The deputy activated his emergency equipment and the driver kept driving approximately 1.5 miles before finally stopping. Fredy S. Quintanilla Romero, 22 of Leesburg was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving – Driving 20 MPH or More Over the Speed Limit, Reckless Driving – Disregard Police Command to Stop, and Driving on a Suspended License. Quintanilla Romero was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is currently being held pending a bond review.
