Deputies responded to the location for a report of a single-vehicle crash and witnesses reported that the driver had walked away. Deputies were able to locate the nearby. Nikhil Shaji, 36, of Ashburn, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Hit and Run. Shaji was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he was released on his own recognizance.
