Deputies responded to the address for a report of a disorderly subject who made threats toward law enforcement. Upon arrival, the subject refused to exit the residence. After a short period, the subject agreed to exit the residence and was taken into custody. Thomas P. McLachlan, 42 of Sterling was charged with Using Threatening, Language, Falsely Summoning Law Enforcement, and Obstruction of Justice. McLachlan was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held pending a bond review.
