Destruction of Property/Larceny (Updated): Unit block E. Pennsylvania Ave. Lovettsville VA

The LCSO is investigating reported incidents involving the destruction of, and larceny of flags in the Lovettsville area.

Two LGBTQ+ flags were damaged from the Unit block of E. Pennsylvania Avenue and the Unit block of S. Loudoun Street on Monday, June 14. Two flags were later reported stolen from the same location on S. Loudoun Street between Tuesday, June 15 and Wednesday, June 16. The LCSO is asking residents in the immediate area of E. Pennsylvania Avenue and S. Loudoun Street that have exterior cameras to please check them for any activity on Monday, June 14 between the hours of 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., and in the area of S. Loudoun Street between 8:50 p.m. on June 15 and 8:30 a.m. June 16. Additionally, three flags were reported stolen in the 12700 block of Berlin Turnpike in Lovettsville during the overnight hours of Tuesday, June 15 into Wednesday, June 16.
