Cyberspace Phishing: 03/28/23 Purcellville VA

The complaint received an e-mail from Key Bank, indicating that her account had been subject to suspicious activity and she needed to call a number listed in the e-mail. As she did not have an account with this bank, she googled the banks number and spoke to the fraud department, confirming that this was just a phishing e-mail and no account had been opened using her information.
