The complainant reported that on 12/12/22. She received notice of a $15.53 charge at Dunkin Donuts. She confirmed that neither she nor her husband made the purchase and both were in possession of their cards. She added that she last made a purchase at the drive-thru approximately a week prior and was told by the cashier that the register at the drive-through was not working and the charge had to be made at the counter register. It is unknown if something occurred while the card was out of her sight. The investigating officer is awaiting the in-store video and the point-of-sale data, and the investigation is ongoing.
