Deputies responded for reports of a vehicle collision with injury. Upon arrival deputies found the driver of the striking vehicle, Mohammad H. Rahim, 22, of Sterling to be under the influence of alcohol. Rahim was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While License is Suspended or Revoked and was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he was later released on a $4,500 bond. The driver of the second vehicle was treated at a local area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
