The complainant reported that he received an online bill for antivirus software. After paying the bill, the complainant attempted to cancel the payment and called the phone number provided. The person stated they would refund the money and during the fictitious refund transaction reported that they refunded the wrong amount. The complainant was instructed to go to his bank and complete an international wire transfer to pay the money back, which he did.
