Carjacking and Abduction: 20000 block River Ridge Terr. Leesburg VA

(Leesburg Police Department Release) Leesburg Police Make Arrest in Armed Carjacking and Abduction Investigation Leesburg, VA (December 15, 2020) – Subsequent to an investigation into a reported armed carjacking and abduction that occurred over the weekend, a 16 year old male was taken into custody last night and charged with attempted robbery, attempted malicious wounding, abduction, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. The teenager, whose name cannot be released because he is a juvenile, is being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center. Through the investigation it has been determined that the suspect was known to the victims. The incident remains under investigation by the Leesburg Police Department Criminal Investigation Section.
