The complainant reported that he was assaulted by a male while outside of the store. Deputies were able to identify the subject and place him under arrest. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Chandell D. Prosper, 39, of Sterling, Was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding. Prosper was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held on no bond.
