Deputies responded to a local area hospital for a report of a female who arrived with injuries from an assault. The female reported that a male known to her assaulted, strangled her, took her cell phone, and would not let her leave. Later in the day at the 20600 block Glenbrook Terrace address, the female reported she was assaulted again by the subject and was eventually able to contact the LCSO. Lawrence T. Charles 36, of Sterling was charged with Strangulation, Kidnapping, Assault, and Larceny. Charles was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held on No Bond.
