The complainant reported that she was assaulted and strangled by a person known to her. Adrian Bravo Abarca, 31, of Sterling, was arrested and charged with two counts of Strangulation and one count of Assault. Bravo Abarca was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of her injuries.
