The complainant reported that she was assaulted and strangled by a person known to her. During the assault, the subject also threatened the victim with a knife and damaged items in the residence, then fled in the victim’s vehicle. On September 26, 2023, deputies located the subject and placed him under arrest. Christopher M. Richardson, 32, of Centreville, was charged with Grand Larceny, Assault, Strangulation, and Property Damage. Richardson was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held on no bond.
