Loudoun County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area after a resident called and reported that an unknown man was knocking on their doors. The man reported he was inside a neighboring residence when he was awakened by a person who was known to him. The suspect brandished a firearm and assaulted him. For several hours deputies with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office attempted to contact the occupants inside the home. Loudoun Deputies ultimately entered the home shortly after 11 a.m. as part of a search warrant. The suspect, Pedro E. Arias Leiva, 30, of Ashburn was taken into custody without incident. A firearm was recovered inside the home. Arias Leiva was charged with Brandishing a Firearm and Simple Assault. He was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond.
