Deputies responded to the intersection of Braddock Rd. / Lenah Crossing Dr. in Aldie, for a report of an injured female. The female reported being struck by a male known to her. When she attempted to flee their parked vehicle, the subject forced her back inside and drove off. The vehicle crashed a short time later and the female and a child were able to flee and contact a passerby. The subject, Deyvon M. Newman, 30, of Manassas, fled the area on foot, and the LCSO searched the area with the assistance of the Fairfax Police Department helicopter (FFX1), The subject was not located and has active warrants for Assault, Abduction, and Child Endangerment as a result of this incident.
