Deputies responded to the address for an assault. The victim reported she was assaulted by a male who is known to her. The subject, Serafin Andrade Arguta, 31 of Sterling reportedly forced a woman into a room of the residence and struck her several times. When family members of the female arrived, the suspect reportedly picked up a knife and attempted to stab one of them with a knife.
Andrade Arguta was charged with Assault, Kidnapping / Abduct by Force, Assault Stab-Cut-Wound with Malicious Intent, and Attempted Assault Stab with Malicious Intent. Andrade Arguta was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of her injuries.
