Deputies responded to the location to assist the Leesburg Police Department with an incident. The victim reported that she had been abducted and assaulted by a person known to her. She reported that while at a location in Sterling, the male forced her into the passenger side of a vehicle. The male reportedly began driving recklessly and got into a traffic altercation with another driver. When the male exited the vehicle to approach the other driver, the victim moved to the driver’s seat and attempted to drive away. When she did, the male jumped on the vehicle, causing damage. The victim was able to drive a short distance where she was able to flag down law enforcement. Deputies located the male, Wil Alfredo Rodriguez, 33 of Sterling and charged him with
- Strangulation
- Kidnapping
- Assault
- Destroy Phone Line to Prevent Call to Law Enforcement
- Property Damage
Along with the above charges, Rodriguez was also charged with
- Probation Violation – Felony
- Probation Violation – Misdemeanor
- Failure to Appear in Court – Misdemeanor
Rodriguez was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held pending a bail review.
