The complainant reported that he was assaulted by a subject known to him and he was prevented from calling 911. Patricia Gilbert, 41, of Sterling, was arrested and charged with Assault, Strangulation, Abduction, and Destroy phone line with intent to prevent calling law enforcement. Gilbert was transported to Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where she is being held without bond.
