Loudoun County, Virginia (June 7, 2023) – In a serious incident that unfolded in our local Sterling community, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an armed robbery and assault at a convenience store.
At approximately 1:38 a.m. this morning, deputies from the LCSO were urgently dispatched to the Exxon station located at 23050 Pacific Boulevard, following reports of an armed robbery in progress. The preliminary inquiry into the situation paints a concerning picture.
It appears an individual, identified as a male, stormed into the store brandishing a firearm and proceeded to demand money from the till. As the situation escalated, the assailant reportedly struck the store employee in the head with the weapon before fleeing the scene.
The staff member involved in the incident, part of our local community, received immediate treatment on site. It is paramount to remember that the safety and well-being of our community members is a top priority.

Suspect Description: The suspect is male, wearing a black face and head covering, a black sweatshirt with “New Balance” written on the chest in white, black gloves, black pants, black shoes, and a black bag.
