The subject called the police to report that the veterinarian’s office would not release their deceased pet. Police investigation revealed the Health Department was investigating related to the health of the cat and its release was unavailable at the time. Loudoun County Humane Law Enforcement (Animal Control) assumed the inquiry from the Police Department and is working with the family for the return of the loved one.
